Nourishing a Holy Humanity Through Wisdom, Service, and the Magical Arts of Prayer

My name is Tamāl Q’enti. It is a pairing of Sanskrit and Quechua that tells a story of my life integrating sacred traditions of East and West. It also invokes a traditional myth about the Hummingbird stealing back sacred Tabaco to heal The Old Woman. I’ll tell you that story later.
For now I’ll say my interest is the individuation of the soul self; my interest is your unique enlightenment process. I am not a perfected master yet but I can help the alchemy of consciousness progress, especially by sharing a comprehensive, holistic, and universal model synthesized from the ancestral traditions that have formed me.
The foundational model which I teach from is based on the premise that we are each occurring in the context of three relationships: with Nature, with Humanity, and with Eternity - the Under, Middle, and Upper Worlds to which our three-dimensional whole self pertains.
That is the fixed axis of our embodied being, around which turns the changing circumstances of our life. Some wise old timers call this the Medicine Wheel, the ancient navigational science lost to most modern minds.
Whatever we call it, the awful shuddering strain we bear these days is due to having lost this core structure that holds life together in the human psyche. The first step of healing – “whole-making” – is to recollect the design of Life, the metaphysical anatomy of our self and of the Bigger Picture too.
THE
UNDERWORLD
First is the Under World, our participation in Nature by our present-moment embodiment. This is a preverbal dimension of self, active before the superimposition of belief, analysis, or socio-cultural norms. Our Under World aspect is the naked, real-time occurrence of consciousness; the primordial ground of being, constantly expressing a rich sensual ‘language’ of its own that we could call Felt Sense.
THE
UPPER WORLD
Then the Upper World is that dimension of self which exists beyond the body (though it can effect the body wondrously). This is the field of the eternal soul; our access to vast transcendent permanence outside the narrow limits of temporality. Here we culture our capacity for divine knowledge, and gradually concentrate spiritual emotion to form an eternal identity the same way that ethereal humidity congeals into a juicy raincloud.
THE
MIDDLE WORLD
Between Nature’s Under World of preverbal present-moment embodiment and Spirit’s Upper World of post-mortal transcendence is the Middle World of our Humanity. That is: our purpose and destiny in this life, and the web of relations that we belong to.
This Human Middle-world aspect is fully actualized under the influences of Nature and Spirit, coming from Below and Above it, as a child is born from her Mother and Father. Authentic Humanity is consciously informed by Nature and Spirit; the play of Intuition and Revelation empower a perfect Intellectual Will.
Grasping this totemic Three Worlds model is essential for the genesis of true Humanity and the fruition of our potential, both as individuals and as a species.
It is the first thing to know: Cosmovision. Without such holistic orientation to align it, the human psyche is like a vine with nothing to climb up, and a caterpillar that never butterflies.
So this Three Worlds model is built into everything I teach here. It is a universal model that supports any authentic faith or philosophy, and here I draw richly from various traditions to flesh out the Inclusive Teaching, and to help everyone’s individuation and unique Gifts manifest.
Our purpose is simply to feed the ecosystem of Life, to serve the web of all our relations, by aligning with Nature and Spirit so that through us a unique contribution may occur for the highest benefit of all.
Our Gift is built into our personal design and comes out spontaneously when the conditions are met.
And our Gift complements with the Gifts of our friends and allies via interdependent teamwork. In collaboration with Heaven, Earth, and our Circle of fated companions, we take our place in the Big Story and accomplish the Great Work of Life. Aho, it is a wonderful thing to be part of - answering the suffering of the world with beautiful Medicine, together.
